The Young Queen Victoria



The upcoming film The Young Victoria, (release date 6th March 2009) looks at the turbulent first years of Queen Victoria's (played by Emily Blunt) rule, and her enduring romance with Prince Albert (played by Keira Knightely's beau, Rupert Friend)

Princess Beatrice even makes an appearance! It's the first time a member of the Royal Family has taken part in a film.

The exquisite costumes are by Oscar winner Sandy Powell who has also designed the costumes for The Other Boleyn Girl, The Aviator, Shakespeare In Love, and Orlando.
