Music Royalty

Last night at the Grammy's, Coldplay showed exactly how celebrities have become the modern day aristocracy and how the red carpet has replaced the royal court when they donned military-styled jackets to the event.

Singer Chris Martin was quoted saying, "Sorry to Paul McCartney for blatantly recycling the Sgt Pepper outfits." Perhaps he should really be apologizing to the gentlemen officers of the 19th and 20th centuries who were required to wear their formal military uniforms to royal court events.
