I came across this interview of Alexander McQueen being interviewed by his mother, for the Guardian in April 2004 . . . I read it and couldn't stop giggling! He talks about his dream dinner party guest being Elizabeth I, vowing not to make eye contact with Elizabeth II when receiving his CBE in October 2003, but did, and claims their eyes locked and he fell in love . . . .
