We're really spoiling you now, with this splendid Victorian Order Mantle from the Palace's Ceremonial Dress collection which clearly encapsulates how royalty is disseminated through colour with its sumptuous red and blue silk satin.
It looks like Vivienne Westwood has been plundering the collection for inspiration, judging by this cape from her A/W 09 Red Label show.
