more Couture





So Galliano is renowned for his historical references and for this season he taking it waaaaay back to Van Dyck, court painter of Charles I (who apparently was under 5ft tall would you believe). Delicate lace collars fused with a dutch delph ware blue.

The finale dress feels regal to me too, its the stiff silk and rich red just convey that court grandeur and formality. But there's something otherworldly at work, an Arthurian Princess I believe.
